Merely Players

January 31st - February 2nd and February 7th-9th

Dear Esteemed Patrons of the Arts,

Have you ever wanted to witness a performance so riveting that even your popcorn holds its breath? Well, you're in luck! Join us for the award-winning play "Merely Players", penned by the legendary Michael Leathers. It's the kind of show that will have you laughing, crying, and possibly questioning your life choices (but in a good way!).

"Merely Players" is not just any play—it's a theatrical masterpiece that has won more awards than your grandma's apple pie at the county fair. And trust us, that's saying something!

Highlights of the Evening:

  • Characters so real, you'll want to invite them to dinner (or at least to help with the dishes).

  • A plot twist that will make your head spin faster than a ballerina on a caffeine high.

  • Dialogue so sharp, it could cut through a loaf of stale bread.

Don't miss your chance to be part of this unforgettable experience. Bring your friends, your family, and maybe even that neighbor who always borrows your lawnmower. It's an event that promises to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys—if those monkeys were talented actors with a penchant for drama!

Secure your tickets now before they disappear faster than your New Year's resolutions!

We can't wait to see you there, laughing, crying, and possibly questioning your life choices (but in a good way!).

Rock of Ages: The Musical

April 25th - 27th and May 2nd - 4th

It’s the tail end of the big, bad 1980s in Hollywood, and the party has been raging hard. Aqua Net, Lycra, lace and liquor flow freely at one of the Sunset Strip’s last legendary venues, a place where sex machine Stacee Jaxx takes the stage and scantily clad groupies line up to turn their fantasies into reality. Amidst the madness, aspiring rock star (and resident toilet cleaner) Drew longs to take the stage as the next big thing (and longs for small-town girl Sherri, fresh off the bus from Kansas with stars in her eyes). But the rock ’n’ roll fairy tale is about to end when German developers sweep into town with plans to turn the fabled Strip into just another capitalist strip mall. Can Drew, Sherri and the gang save the strip – and themselves – before it’s too late? Only the music of hit bands Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and more hold the answer.

The Enchanted Bookshop

June 27th - 29th

Directed by Chris Young and Elizabeth Battles

An ordinary used book shop by day, A Likely Story, becomes a magical place each night. Thanks to a spell from the Book Fairy, the characters inside the books come alive each and every night. Six of those characters — Dorothy Gale, Robin Hood, Pollyanna, Sherlock Holmes, Heidi, and Tom Sawyer — long to help Margie, the scatterbrained owner, save her struggling store. But they’re not allowed to leave the building or be seen by human eyes.

So when a pair of bungling smugglers comes looking for a stolen necklace hidden inside one of the books, the characters are torn. Should they warn Margie and risk disappearing forever? Or can they find a way to defeat the crooks without being seen?

Dogfight

September 5th - 7th & 12th - 14th

Step back into 1963, the eve of the Vietnam War, where a group of young Marines sets out for one last night of mischief before deployment. But when Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward yet idealistic waitress. What begins as a cruel game turns into an unexpected journey of self-discovery, compassion, and love.

Featuring a hauntingly beautiful score by Pasek and Paul (Edges, James and the Giant Peach, A Christmas Story), Dogfight is a powerful and moving musical about love, redemption, and finding kindness in an unforgiving world. Don’t miss this unforgettable production—where heartbreak and hope collide on stage.

Join us for an evening of music and storytelling that will stay with you long after the final bow!
